Alive Studios LLC (“Alive Studios,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the privacy of children, parents, guardians, teachers, schools, and all users of the Stickers alive mobile application (“Stickers alive,” the “App,” or the “Service”).
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Stickers alive mobile application. It does not apply to other Alive Studios websites, products, services, applications, ecommerce pages, support forms, or third-party websites, which may have separate privacy policies.
Stickers alive is designed as a free educational companion app for physical Alive Studios literacy stickers. The physical stickers are the primary educational product and may be used independently without the App. The App allows a child, parent, guardian, teacher, or school user to point a device camera at a supported physical sticker so the depicted animal, letter, sound, or related learning activity can appear through augmented reality.
1. Children’s Privacy Commitment
Stickers alive is intended for use by children with the involvement of a parent, guardian, teacher, or school.
We designed the App to avoid collecting personal information from children. Stickers alive is designed to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by not collecting personal information from children through the App.
The App does not ask children to create an account, enter a name, provide an email address, provide a phone number, provide a mailing address, share precise location, communicate with other users, or submit personal information.
2. Information the App Does Not Collect
Stickers alive does not collect, store, transmit, sell, rent, share, or disclose children’s personal information.
Specifically, the App does not collect:
A child’s name
A child’s email address
A child’s phone number
A child’s mailing address
A child’s school name
A child’s username or account login
A child’s precise geographic location
Contacts
Chat messages or social communications
Advertising identifiers
Persistent identifiers used to recognize a child or device across apps or websites
Browsing history
Search history
Purchase history within the App
Biometric information
Face data
Camera images or AR scans uploaded to Alive Studios
Analytics profiles
Behavioral advertising profiles
The App does not collect photos, videos, audio recordings, drawings, or other user-generated content. If a user chooses to take a photo with an augmented reality animal, that photo is saved locally to the user’s own device photo gallery and is not collected, accessed, uploaded, transmitted, stored, sold, or shared by Alive Studios through the App.
3. Camera, Augmented Reality, and Photo Feature
The App uses the device camera to recognize supported Alive Studios physical stickers and display the related augmented reality animal, letter, sound, or learning experience.
Camera access is used for the educational AR function of the App. Camera images are processed on the device for sticker recognition. Alive Studios does not record, store, upload, sell, share, or disclose camera images, videos, AR scans, face data, depth data, or other camera-derived content through the App.
The App may allow a parent, guardian, teacher, or child using the device to take a photo with the augmented reality animal. When this feature is used, the photo is created and saved locally on the user’s own device, such as in the device’s Photos app or photo gallery, depending on the device settings and permissions.
Alive Studios does not receive, access, view, collect, store, upload, transmit, sell, share, or disclose photos taken through the App. Photos taken through the App remain under the control of the device user and the device’s operating system settings.
If a device operating system asks for camera or photo permission, that permission is used only to provide the App’s augmented reality sticker-recognition experience and, if the user chooses, to save a photo locally to the user’s own device.
4. Physical Stickers and School Distribution
Stickers alive is a free companion app for physical educational stickers. The stickers may be purchased or distributed by schools, parents, guardians, teachers, educational organizations, or other adults.
Children do not need to make purchases through the App. The App does not include in-app purchases, subscriptions, paid digital unlocks, credits, loot boxes, consumable purchases, or child-directed purchasing opportunities.
The App is intended to enhance the physical sticker experience. The stickers are not used by Alive Studios to collect personal information from children.
5. No In-App Purchases, Ads, or Tracking
Stickers alive does not include:
In-app purchases
Subscriptions
Third-party advertising
Targeted advertising
Behavioral advertising
Retargeting
Third-party ad networks
Tracking across apps or websites
Data brokers
Social media tracking pixels
Remarketing SDKs
App-based marketing profiles
Alive Studios does not sell or share children’s personal information because the App does not collect children’s personal information.
6. No Third-Party Analytics in the App
Stickers alive does not use third-party analytics services to collect information about children or their devices.
The App does not use analytics SDKs to collect, transmit, or profile a child’s activity, device information, advertising identifier, persistent identifier, location, or personal information.
7. Third-Party Technology Used for App Functionality
The App may be built using third-party development tools, game engines, or augmented reality technologies, such as Unity, ARKit, ARCore, EasyAR, or similar app-development or AR-recognition technology.
These technologies are used to provide App functionality, including rendering, animation, device camera access, and augmented reality sticker recognition.
Alive Studios does not enable third-party advertising, targeted advertising, third-party analytics, or child profiling in the App. Alive Studios does not permit third-party technology providers to collect children’s personal information through the App for advertising, tracking, profiling, or marketing purposes.
8. External Links and Parent/Adult Areas
The child-facing portion of the App is designed for educational use and does not require children to leave the App.
If the App includes links to Alive Studios websites, product information, support resources, legal terms, privacy information, or other adult-facing content, those links are intended for parents, guardians, teachers, schools, or other adults and should be placed in an adult area protected by a parental gate or similar age-appropriate mechanism.
Children can use the core educational AR experience without accessing adult-facing links or purchasing opportunities.
9. School, Teacher, and Parent Use
Stickers alive may be used in homes, classrooms, schools, libraries, tutoring environments, and other educational settings.
The App does not require a child account, student account, classroom roster, learning profile, school login, or teacher dashboard. Alive Studios does not collect student personal information through the App.
If a school, teacher, parent, or guardian contacts Alive Studios outside the App for customer service, ordering, support, training, or product questions, that communication is handled separately from the App and may be subject to Alive Studios’ website, support, or business privacy practices.
10. Parent and Guardian Rights
Because the App does not collect or store children’s personal information, Alive Studios does not maintain child personal information from the App for parents to review, correct, or delete.
A parent, guardian, teacher, or school representative may contact Alive Studios with privacy questions or concerns using the contact information below.
If Alive Studios receives a privacy request concerning a child, we will make reasonable efforts to respond appropriately. If we determine that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child through the App, we will delete that information using reasonable measures unless retention is required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
11. Data Retention
The App does not retain children’s personal information.
Because the App does not collect children’s personal information, there is no child personal information collected through the App for Alive Studios to retain, use, disclose, or delete.
Photos taken through the App, if any, are saved locally to the user’s own device photo gallery and are controlled by the device user and the device’s operating system settings. Alive Studios does not retain, access, or store those photos.
If a parent, guardian, teacher, school, or adult user contacts Alive Studios outside the App, we may retain that adult-provided communication for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, provide support, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements.
12. Security
Alive Studios uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in our possession.
Because the App does not collect children’s personal information, the primary privacy protection in the App is data minimization: the App is designed not to collect child personal information in the first place.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. However, Alive Studios works to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the App and the information, if any, involved.
13. No Sale or Sharing of Children’s Personal Information
Alive Studios does not sell children’s personal information.
Alive Studios does not share children’s personal information for targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, profiling, data brokerage, or marketing purposes.
The App does not collect children’s personal information, so there is no children’s personal information from the App to sell or share.
14. No Behavioral Advertising or Profiling
The App does not create profiles of children.
The App does not use personal information, persistent identifiers, device information, camera data, AR data, location data, usage activity, or photos to deliver behavioral advertising, measure advertising effectiveness, retarget users, or personalize marketing.
15. No Public Disclosure of Child Information
The App does not include chat, messaging, public profiles, comment posting, discussion boards, video sharing, or user-generated content features that allow children to publicly disclose personal information.
The App may allow a user to save a photo locally to the user’s own device photo gallery. Alive Studios does not provide a public posting feature, social sharing platform, chat feature, or user profile feature through the App.
16. No Location Tracking
The App does not collect, store, or transmit precise geographic location.
The App does not track a child’s location.
17. No Push Notification Marketing
The App does not use push notifications to market to children, advertise products to children, or encourage children to make purchases.
If push notifications are ever added in the future, Alive Studios will update this Privacy Policy and any required App Store privacy disclosures before enabling that feature.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes to the way the App handles children’s personal information, we will update this Privacy Policy and take any additional steps required by applicable law before the changes take effect.
The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy shows when it was most recently revised.

20. Important Note About Other Alive Studios Services
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Stickers alive mobile application.
Other Alive Studios websites, ecommerce pages, support forms, products, services, or applications may collect information from adults, parents, guardians, teachers, schools, or customers for purposes such as orders, shipping, support, training, billing, communications, or product inquiries. Those services are governed by their own applicable privacy policies and terms.
21. App Store Privacy Disclosure Alignment
This Privacy Policy is intended to describe the privacy practices of the Stickers alive mobile application. The App’s App Store privacy disclosures should match the App’s actual data practices.
If the App’s data practices change, including through the addition of analytics, advertising, account creation, location services, push notifications, external links, purchases, third-party SDKs that collect data, or any photo, camera, AR, or device data being uploaded or transmitted outside the user’s device, Alive Studios will update this Privacy Policy and any required App Store disclosures before or at the time such changes are implemented.
