Our Nation’s Report Card is released every two years. It reports the data resulting from testing 4th and 8th graders in various subjects around the country. Only 37% of America’s 4th graders are proficient in reading when tested. Unfortunately, over the last couple of decades, we have not seen any measurable improvements in reading scores.

The goal is to shift America’s 4th grade reading scores from 37% proficiency to over 70%. This will take a multitude of great people, but our kids are worth it and our communities depend on it!
